Yesterday took place the presentation of the sixth edition of EspÃritu de Montjuïc at the Hotel Primero Primera.
This pioneer revival of motor racing in Spain and one of the most important events of historical motorsport of Europe, will take place this weekend, from April 7 to 9 at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia.
Attendees can enjoy a large number of competitions on the track, and countless activities for all audiences that will take place in the paddock.
Activity on the track will commence on Friday with the respective training sessions and on Saturday and Sunday different competitions will take place. Such as the Dutch Touring Car Championship and GT from 1947 to 1965 and the Masters pre-66 Touring Cars. This year, as a novelty, they present the 3 Hours of Barcelona-Javier Del Arco Trophy, which will dispute 17 vehicles. All of them will recall the multiple endurance races that marked Montjuïc.
Any family member, whether car lover or not, adult or young, is guaranteed fun as it offers enjoyment for all. The smaller ones will be able to "pilot" small vehicles that replicate the pedals on the final stretch of the circuit with exit Le Mans type with podium included. Also, all the space of the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia will be available to be used and visited: open pitches, grandstands, raised steps and terraces.
The presentation ceremony at the Hotel Primero Primera was chaired by the head of EscuderÃa Targa Iberia and organizer of the event, Jesús Pozo; the President of the Circuit, Vicenç Aguilera; The Director of the Circuit, Joan Fontserè and pilots of the size of Luis Perez-Sala and Andy Soucek.
