On January 6 the tradition is to eat the Roscón de Reyes, a tradition that comes to us from the Roman era, when the slaves celebrated the "Saturnalia" a pagan festival that celebrated the end of the harvest with a cake of figs, nuts and honey.

Later, this custom was recovered in the French Court by drawing everyone's attention by introducing a gold coin and that would make the one who found it the king of the party, while whoever found the bean, would have to pay for the cake.
